Diagnosis
ReferenceDiagnosis
H. de Bruijn et al. 1993the species tobieni is a rather small Cricetodon. Its slender cheek teeth are of about the same size as those of aliveriensis and kaspligili. The anterocone of the three-rooted M1 is divided into two cusps. The posteroloph of the M1 and M2 continues beyond the point where the metalophule joins the posteroloph. The shallow lingual sinus of the rounded M3 is either transverse or slightly posteriorly directed. The metalophulid II of the m1 is complete., but the metalophulid I is weak or absent. The M2 has four roots, but the lingual pair is fused partially.
