Taxonomy
Conocardium bohemicum was named by Barrande (1881). It is not a trace fossil.
It was recombined as Hippocardia bohemica by Pojeta and Runnegar (1976), Hoare (1989), Babin et al. (1999), Hoare and Aghababula (2001) and Rogalla and Amler (2003); it was corrected as Conocardium bohemicus by Breyvel et al. (1977); it was recombined as Bohemicardia bohemicus by Frey et al. (2014); it was recombined as Bohemicardia bohemica by Mironova (1979), Rogalla and Amler (2006) and Wagner (2023).
It was recombined as Hippocardia bohemica by Pojeta and Runnegar (1976), Hoare (1989), Babin et al. (1999), Hoare and Aghababula (2001) and Rogalla and Amler (2003); it was corrected as Conocardium bohemicus by Breyvel et al. (1977); it was recombined as Bohemicardia bohemicus by Frey et al. (2014); it was recombined as Bohemicardia bohemica by Mironova (1979), Rogalla and Amler (2006) and Wagner (2023).
