Whatcheeria deltae
Taxonomy
Whatcheeria deltae was named by Lombard and Bolt (1995). Its type specimen is FM PR 1700, a partial skeleton, and it is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is Delta, which is in an Asbian sinkhole horizon in the St. Louis Formation of Iowa. It is the type species of Whatcheeria.
