F. S. MacNeil and D. T. Dockery 1984Shell minute, patelliform, cap-shaped, bilaterally symmetrical. Muscle scar horse-shoe shaped, broadest at anterior ends,open anteriorly. Anterior openingconnected by pallial line, impressed in adult specimens, obscure or wanting in immature shells. Apex blunt, posterior in position and curved posteriorly. Aperture narrowly elliptical. Margin not in a single plane, elevatedat both ends. Sculpture of growthlinesonly.
