Austriadactylus cristatus

Taxonomy
Austriadactylus cristatus was named by Dalla Vecchia et al. (2002). Its type specimen is SMNS 56342, a skeleton (nearly complete articulated skeleton missing distal parts of the limbs), and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Austriadactylus type locality near Ankerschlag, which is in a Sevatian lagoonal/restricted shallow subtidal limestone in the Seefelder Schichten Formation of Austria.
