Prunum eleutheria
Taxonomy
Marginella (Egouena) eleutheria was named by Gardner (1947). Its type specimen is USNM 114464, a shell, and it is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is USGS Loc. 2211 - Alum Bluff, lower bed, which is in a Burdigalian marine marl/sandstone in the Chipola Formation of Florida.
It was recombined as Prunum eleutheria by Nehm (2001).
