Taxonomy
Natica washingtonensis was named by Weaver (1916) [m. kosnik taxon no: 10127]. Its type specimen is CAS 7516, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil.

It was recombined as Polinices washingtonensis by Clark and Anderson (1938) and Moore (1976); it was recombined as Neverita (Neverita) washingtonensis by Marincovich (1977) and Hickman (1980).
