Scaphander stewarti
Taxonomy
Scaphander stewarti was named by Durham (1944) [DISTRIBUTION: Early-middle Oligocene; Washington-Oregon.]. Its type specimen is UCMP 35483, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Woodmans Wharf, which is in a Priabonian marine conglomerate in the Quimper Formation of Washington.
