It was corrected as Leptonoidea by Marquet (2005) and Nevesskaja (2009).

It was assigned to Teleodesmacea by Glenn (1904); to Lucinina by Newell (1965); to Veneroida by Dockery (1982), Maxwell (1992) and Marquet (2005); and to Lucinoida by Nevesskaja (2009).
