  • Conus haytensis was named by Sowerby (1849) [DISTRIBUTION: Miocene-Pliocene; Caribbean.]. It is not a trace fossil.

    It was recombined as Conus (Dendroconus) haytensis by Pflug (1961); it was recombined as Conus (Lithoconus) haytensis by Olsson (1967); it was recombined as Pyruconus haytensis by Tucker and Tenorio (2009); it was synonymized subjectively with Conus (Pyruconus) haytensis by Hendricks (2015).
  • Conus druidi was named by Olsson (1967) [DISTRIBUTION: Pliocene-Pleistocene; Florida]. Its type specimen is USNM 645160, a shell, and it is not a trace fossil.

    It was recombined as Conus (Lithoconus) druidi by Petuch (1994); it was recombined as Lithoconus druidi by Petuch (2004); it was synonymized subjectively with Conus haytensis by Hendricks (2008) and Landau and Marques da Silva (2010).
