It was assigned to Emarginulinae by Knight et al. (1960); to Fissurellidae by Ladd (1982); to Emarginulidae by Wilson (1993); to Archaeogastropoda by Sepkoski (2002); and to Emarginulini by Bouchet et al. (2005).
