Taxonomy
Albertella bosworthi was named by Walcott (1908). It is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is south slope of Mount Bosworth, which is in a Delamaran marine shale in Canada.

It was recombined as Paralbertella bosworthi by Palmer and Halley (1979).
