Decadocrinidae was named by Bather (1890). It is not extant. Its type is Decadocrinus. It is the type family of Decadocrinacea.
It was assigned to Decadocrinacea by Ubaghs et al. (1978) and Webster et al. (1999); and to Agassizocrinacea by Pabian and Rushlau (2002).
