Taxonomy
Tralia (Tralia) vetula was named by Woodring (1928) [DISTRIBUTION: Late Pliocene; Jamaica]. Its type specimen is ANSP 12506, a shell, and it is not a trace fossil.

It was recombined as Tralia vetula by Hendy et al. (2008).
