Aphera waltonensis

Taxonomy
Mitra (Chrysame) waltonensis was named by Aldrich (1910) [DISTRIBUTION: Early Miocene; Florida.]. Its type specimen is USNM 351274, a shell, and it is not a trace fossil.

It was recombined as Cancellaria (Aphera) waltonensis by Gardner (1947); it was recombined as Aphera waltonensis by Hendy et al. (2008).
