It was assigned to Centrosaurinae by Ryan (2007), McDonald and Horner (2010), Xu et al. (2010), Ryan et al. (2010), McDonald (2011), Farke et al. (2011), Fiorillo and Tykoski (2012), Longrich (2013) and Evans and Ryan (2015); and to Albertaceratopsini by Loewen et al. (2024).
