Bellerophon rotalinea was named by Hall (1879). It is not extant.
It was recombined as Tropidocyclus rotalinea by Clarke (1908) and Clarke (1909); it was recombined as Nylanderina rotalinea by Boucot et al. (1967); it was recombined as Tritonophon rotalinea by Rollins et al. (1971) and Peel (1974); it was recombined as Crenistriella rotalinea by Wagner (2023).
