Taxonomy
Jurassiphorus triadicus was named by Haas (1953). Its type specimen is AMNH 26514:1 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Cerro de Pasco area, Huanca, loc. 26, which is in a Rhaetian marine limestone in Peru.
