W. F. Ponder 1984Small, with spiral and axial sculpture, 1-2 spiral cords causing angulation of whorls. Aperture more weakly channelled anteriorly than in Rissoina s.s. (Fig. 1330). Protoconch multispiral (about 3 whorls) with regularly increasing convex whorls, the first minute; apparently smooth.
