Palaeostylus (Pseudozygopleura) obtusicacuminis
Taxonomy
Pseudozygopleura (Pseudozygopleura) obtusicacuminis was named by Knight (1930). Its type specimen is YPM 12977, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is SL-1. Headwaters of Feefee Creek, north of Olive St. & west of Lindberg Blvd., 1.5 km northwest of Stratmann (Olivette), which is in a Moscovian offshore shale in the Appanoose Formation of Missouri.
It was recombined as Pseudozygopleura obtusicacuminis by Plummer and Hornberger (1935); it was recombined as Palaeostylus (Pseudozygopleura) obtusicacuminis by Yochelson and Saunders (1967).
