Amaurotoma subsinuata

Taxonomy
Pleurotomaria subsinuata was named by Meek and Worthen (1860). It is not a trace fossil. It is the type species of Amaurotoma.

It was recombined as Yunnania subsinuata by Knight (1933); it was recombined as Amaurotoma subsinuata by Knight (1945), Knight et al. (1960), Yochelson and Saunders (1967) and Wagner (2023).
