Taxonomy
Turritella cramatensis was named by Martin (1905) [DISTRIBUTION: Late Miocene; Java, Indonesia.]. Its type specimen is RGM 10898-10899, a shell, and it is not a trace fossil.

It was recombined as Zaria cramatensis by Shuto (1974) and van den Hoek Ostende et al. (2002).
