Taxonomy
Nymphaster dolmeni was named by Breton (1992). It is not extant. Its type specimen is Muséum d'Histoire Naturelle of Le Havre, holotype MHNH E.A. (f) 3.

It was recombined as Cymbaster dolmeni by Breton and Néraudeau (2008).

G. Breton 1992Superomarginals slightly curved, relatively high. Profile convex with an abradial side flattened, oblique. Abactinal dome developed. Inferomarginals low. External face slightly domed, with an actinal side horizontal and an abradial side reentrant. Intermarginal plates reduced. Ornament of regular granule-pits.
