Taxonomy
Chomataster wrighti was named by Rasmussen (1950). It is not extant. Its type specimen is Mineralogical Museum, Copenhagen, holotype MMH 7538.

It was recombined as Nymphaster wrighti by Gale (1987) and Jagt et al. (2021).
