Mya (Mya) salmonensis

Taxonomy
Mya salmonensis was named by Clark (1932) [DISTRIBUTION: Late Eocene; Japan. Oligocene, Alaska.]. Its type specimen is UCMP 30397, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is UCMP 3851 Salmon Creek, which is in a Chattian marine horizon in the Poul Creek Formation of Alaska.

It was recombined as Mya (Mya) salmonensis by MacNeil (1965).
