Equus yunnanensis

Taxonomy
Equus yunnanensis was named by Colbert (1940). Its type specimen is AMNH 38960, a set of teeth, and it is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is Ma Kai Valley, which is in a Pleistocene eolian claystone in China.
