Huqingtherium lintungense
Taxonomy
Hispanotherium lintungensis was named by Zhai (1978). Its type specimen is IVPP V3085, a skull, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Yingbeihoucun (locality 64007), Lengshuigou, Lantong, Shaanxi, which is in the Serravallian of horizon the Lengshuigou Formation China.
It was recombined as Huaqingtherium lintungensis by Huang and Yan (1983) and Tong (2001); it was synonymized subjectively with Hispanotherium matritense by Deng (2003); it was recombined as Huqingtherium lintungense by Antoine et al. (2002), Antoine (2003) and Guérin and Pickford (2003).
It was recombined as Huaqingtherium lintungensis by Huang and Yan (1983) and Tong (2001); it was synonymized subjectively with Hispanotherium matritense by Deng (2003); it was recombined as Huqingtherium lintungense by Antoine et al. (2002), Antoine (2003) and Guérin and Pickford (2003).
