Abdounodus hamdii
Taxonomy
Abdounodus hamdii was named by Gheerbrant et al. (2001). Its type specimen is MNHN PM21, a mandible (left dentary), and it is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is Ouled Abdoun Basin (lowermost bed 1), which is in a Selandian marine phosphorite in Morocco. It is the type species of Abdounodus.
