Stratigraphy comments: Correlated to mid-Vyatkian of east European scale by Durante (2007, Permophiles 49). Radiometric dating of ash beds at contact with and in the base of the overlying Tailugan Formation (257.7+/-1.3 and 256.6+/-0.4 Ma) suggest entirely Wuchiapingian (Silantiev et al., 2024).
