Lithology and environment
Primary lithology:gray,green marl
Secondary lithology: "limestone"
Lithology description: "Widespread in greenish-gray marls with microcrystalline limestone interbeds of the fourth facies zone. Greenish-gray coloring of sediments indicates normal oxygen level environment. From 60 to 80% of the shells are disarticulated, which indicates moderate turbulence, possibly above wave base. Its presence inshore from the G.obovata-S.lewisii Comm. is consistent with a BA 4 position in normally oxygenated wateres with a normal level of turbulence."
Environment:marine indet.
