Lithology and environment
Primary lithology:gray,green marl
Secondary lithology: "limestone"
Includes fossils?Y
Lithology description: "Occurs in greenish-gray and gray marls with organogenic-detrital (biomorphic) limestone inclusions belonging to the third facies zone. [Seems to replace Dayia community when there's less terrigenous material.] [Probably BA 3-4.] An environment less silty, less turbid, possibly more oxygenated as well, than that occupied by the Dayia Community...Most of the D. n. specimens are ticulated, but commonly disarticulated shells of other brachiopods indicates a moderate level of turbulence just above wave base, with normal oxygen levels [green-gray]."
Environment:marine indet.
