30 kg was sampled from another stromatoporoid mound close to locality 2 (within ~20 m). As with locality 2, samples were derived from the middle and upper part of the stromatoporoid mound. The stromatoporoid mound at locality 3 represents the lowest stratigraphic level with identifiable stromatoporoid mounds within the upper Cashions Creek Limestone. | |
