Lithology and environment
Primary lithology:shelly/skeletal lithified "limestone"
Environment:open shallow subtidal
Geology comments: Our microfacies analysis of samples from the Safetdara Formation reveals that they contain mainly photozoan assemblages. Therefore, they are typical shoal deposits of warm, shallow (5–10 m deep) and agitated but clear marine waters.
