Stratigraphy comments: Specimens sampled from "f" bed of Bohlin 1949. Age and stratigraphy based on Nordlund 1989 (GFF 111:64-94) and Struresson 1986 (GFF 108:331-348). PJW: Was Holen Limestone based on prior references. However, raniceps-aged rock on Öland now is in the informal Öland C formation. (Holen is slightly older, too.)
