Lithology description: "Occurs in lenticular bands and thin beds of brachiopod conquinoid limestone, bed-by-bed accumulations of mostly articulated shells within greenish-gray, shaly mudstone and argillaceous biomicrite. All layers consist of articulated shells."
Environment:marine indet.
Geology comments: "The local life assemblages and accumulations (slightly transported) developed on argillaceous muds deposited in shallow, quiet water environments interpreted as BA 2, as is the case elsewhere in the world with this chiefly Uralian-Cordilleran Region community." [The occurrence is of mostly single-species accumulations of Atrypoidea, with the other faunal elements interbedded and in adjacent patches.]
