Formation rests unconformably, transgressively over Middle Ordovician sediments, and grades into the marls and nodular limestones and limestones of the overlying, Wenlock Lipno Formation. Brachiopods and bryozoans are very rare in the Lipno, which is why communities have not been described from it. (For the time being they are considered as a Leangella-Glassia Association.) This is probably a BA 4-5 unit..." |
