Lithology and environment
Primary lithology:wave ripples,deformed bedding,micaceous,gray,red siltstone
Secondary lithology: mudstone
Lithology description: Author does not specify what layer fossil collection comes from. "Lower part gray to red gray silt and mudstone plus reddish gray fine to medium grained sandstone with mica and clay shreds. Abundant coarse oblique and ripple bedding. Many layers with ball and pillow features. Middle part dominating silt and mudstone few sandstones. Upper part alternating gray and red silt, sand, and mudstone. On top, thick coarse sandstone with oblique and ripple bedding."
Environment:transition zone/lower shoreface
Glacial or sequence phase:regressive
Geology comments: "near shore shallow water (peritidal or subtidal environments)" A palaeogeographic map is given as Figure 6.
