| Stratigraphy comments: "This unit occurs in beds of Ashgillian age lying above the Ashgillian-age graptolite Zone of Diplograptus bohemicus, present in the underlying Wufeng Formation." I infer that the position above the Wufeng but within the Ashgill implies Hirnantian age. |
