Lithology description: Bluish and grey shale with thin interbeds of sandstone, limestone, and dolomite, which are only a few inches thick and rarely more than a foot and not lensitic in character. Many of the sandstones are sub-greywackes; the shale is commonly grey, bluish grey, and greenish grey, weathering buff and yellowish.
Environment:shallow subtidal indet.
