Environment: | offshore | Tectonic setting: | foreland basin |
Glacial or sequence phase: | highstand systems tract | ||
Geology comments: Echinoderms well preserved, in thin layers, articulated, suggesting frequent burial by mud layers with little disturbance; shallow (storm effects) but below zone of direct storm impingement. BA 4-5.
2003:04:06 SEP environmental/tectonic/sequence calls based on field knowledge familiarity with stratigraphic context. |

Collection methods and comments
Reason for describing collection: | paleoecologic analysis |
Collection method comments: Much overlap with collection 12936, but not strictly speaking a subset (for example, trilobites are listed here but not in that collection). Authors say this community is a subset of the Striispirifer-Amphistrophia Community, which is represented by collection 12936. I have included taxa from table 45.50 (listed there with abundances) as well as a few other taxa mentioned in text but not listed for the one locality in table. |
