Stratigraphy comments: "The strata on Crabbs River are downfaulted on the southeast against grey and brownish siltstone, which is underlain by gypsum. .....The northwest boundary of the Searston beds is lidewise a fault, for although a fault contact is not actually exposed, the Searston beds stand vertically, with their top surfaces to the southeast." (Bell, 1948- p. 20)
