Lithology description: Formation in general: "In the type area, the Fm. consists of fine-to-med.-gr sst. and of two layers with prevailing silty clayst (one of them at the bottom of unit). Towards the east, the silty-argillaceous layers wedge out and the sst become prevalently cross-bedded."
