Stratigraphy

Stratigraphic resolution: | group of beds | ||||
Stratigraphy comments: This author numbers beds for the whole area in one series, these are beds 32-34. Prestwich gives fossils for beds 34-31 collectively, but I think he's lumping the Bembridge Limestone and Osborne Beds (which he calls collectively part of the "Upper Group" of the fluvio-marine series), so I'm splitting them for this collection. I have correlated it with Bosma's naming system as the Bembridge Limestone |
