Primary lithology: | calcareous mudstone |
Lithology description: Argillaceous lithofacies is dominated by thinly bedded to massive shales and mudstones, interbedded with minor tuffaceous siltstones, sandstones, or pebbly sandstone layers and locally with thin limestone lenses. Slightly metamorphosed and deformed locally. Around Sungai Yu, the fossiliferous shale is commonly thin to thickly bedded and calcareous in nature. | |
