Lithology description: 200 ft of fine-grained sandstones and shales. The sandstones are often micaceous and flaggy, and are generally intensely hard; their colour ranges from grey, yellowish-grey and greenish-grey to red and purple. The shales are easily weathered and rarely seen at the surface.
