Lithology description: light gray to gray claystone
Environment:transition zone/lower shoreface Tectonic setting:foreland basin
Taphonomy
Modes of preservation:body
Collection methods and comments
Collection methods:bulk,surface (in situ),chemical,mechanical,field collection,observed (not collected)
Reason for describing collection:paleoecologic analysis
Taxonomic list comments:Data is presented two ways in the paper: as presence/absence data for all 34 sampled horizons and standardized abundances for 23 of those horizons. Where available, abundance data is entered. Counts from bulk sampling "were adjusted uniformly for fragmented and single valve occurences by multiplying through a ratio--4 fragments or 2 valves equal to one occurrence". Standardization means "bulk sampling counts were standardized by sample weight".
