Lithology and environment
Primary lithology: | current ripples, grading, dolomitic lithified wackestone
Lithology description: Often very fossiliferous. The crinoid-dominated areas are mostly inclined-bedded, vuggy, porous, noncherty, crinoid-moldic dolowackestones, though occasionally dolopackstones-grainstones occur also... Sedimentary textures and fossil occurrences are identical to those seen in Racine mounds, but typically the fauna (e.g., brachiopods, corals, echinoderms) is much less diverse. Local graded bedding, debris wedges, and mound fissures packed with trilobites or nautiloids (forming very local trilobite-moldic and nautiloid-moldic dolowackestones-packstones) are common.
