| Stratigraphy comments: Originally dated to Middle Miocene (Chow, 1978, Chiu et al. 1979), now MN7, Astaracian, Tunggurian.
The Formation comprises grey-yellow and dark yellow muddy sandstones and terracotta red or grey-green mottled, red-brown sandy mudstones. Largest exposures are approximately 80m. |
