"The discovery is due to Emilio and Nereo Piccoli of Alpimarmo di Mori (Rovereto), that during cutting of some slabs from a block of Red Ammonitico noticed the presence of fossil bones inside and consequently brought the material to the Civic Museum of Rovereto... It was possible to determine the place of origin of the material. The findings come from a block of Red Ammonitico extracted probably in 1990". (translation of Bizzarini 1995, p. 343)
