Environment/lithology: marginal marine; lithified, dolomitic, silty, sandy, conglomeratic mixed carbonate-siliciclastic sediments

• contains basal dolomitic conglomerate overlain by a variety of dolomitic sandstones, shales, siltstones, and sandy, silty, or conglomeratic dolomites (Blackstone and McGrew, 1954; Sandberg, 1961b, 1967). plant fossils found only on exposure on southern wall of canyon.
